Overwintering Your Geraniums
I'm sharing steps for overwintering geraniums indoors, but my blog post has other options as well.
Dig the plant out of the container before the first hard freeze, and gently shake off excess dirt.
Check closely for signs of any pests or disease.
Cut off any dead or diseased foliage. Prune to a third of their size.
Transplant using a potting mix for containerized plants. Fill, leaving about an inch for watering.
Water the plant heavily after planting, and then allow the soil to dry out.
Place in a space with direct sun, with temperatures not falling below 45 degrees.
