2 cups warm water 1 Tablespoon active dry yeast 1/4 cup sugar 2 teaspoons salt 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil 5 cups all-purpose flour

Proofing the yeast: In a large bowl add the yeast, water and a pinch of the sugar. Allow to rest for 5-10 minutes until foaming and bubbly.

Add sugar, salt, oil, three cups of flour and mix together.

Blend on low until blended with the hook paddle.

Add the remaining flour 1/2 cup at a time until dough is smooth and elastic.

When all the flour is added, blend on low for 4 minutes OR you can knead dough by hand.

Cover and let the dough rise for 2 hours. It should double its size!

Cut dough in half and kneed to get air bubbles out.

Place dough in bread pan, cover and let rise a second time for an hour. When ready, bake at 350 in the oven for 30 minutes.

Place on cooling rack and enjoy!
