Painted Kitchen Utensils
I absolutely love this easy upgrade!
1
Bamboo Utensils, Apple Barrel Paint in Deep Navy and Primary Blue, Treasure Gold Mayan Gold Paint, Gloss Sealer, Painters Tape a Ruler and Brushes.
2
Determine where paint will end and mark off. Paint shouldn’t go anywhere food might touch.
3
Use painters tape to create lines. Make sure it’s pressed down firmly.
4
Apply first coat of paint to utensils.
5
Use a smaller brush to get inside handle holes. Let dry one hour.
6
Add a second coat of paint and carefully remove tape. Let dry 24 hours.
7
Use painters tape to mark off new areas to paint gold. Apply two coats of paint. Wait an hour between coats. Remove tape after second coat.
8
Let paint dry overnight. Place plastic bags over food touching areas. Take utensils outside to spray painted areas with gloss sealer.
9
Be sure to let dry completely before use and hand wash only.
