Paper Plate Christmas Gnome - Kid Craft Idea
Supplies: paper plate, scissors, scrapbook paper, cardstock, stapler, glue and snowflake stickers
First grab your paper plate and cut it in half. Pull aside one paper plate half for this craft.
Now cut small notches all along the edge of the paper plate rim. Use your fingers to curl up the edges to make a beard.
Next grab your scrapbook paper and cut out a large triangle for the gnome’s hat.
Go ahead and also cut out an oval nose shape from kraft colored cardstock. Go ahead and gather all your paper pieces together.
Now it’s time to assemble. Start off by stapling your paper plate half to the triangle hat.
Follow that up by gluing down the nose to the center of it all.
The last step is to add some snowflake embellishments to the hat, to tie the theme together.
Allow your gnome piece to dry completely before you display it proudly for all to see!
