Paper Plate Igloo - Winter Craft Idea For Kids
Supplies: large paper plate, scissors, school glue, cotton balls, glitter glue, loose craft glitter, cardstock, marker and stickers
First cut your paper plate in half. Just go straight up the center of the plate, to make two equal halves. Pull one aside for your igloo.
Next grab your school glue and put a good amount of it, all over your paper plate half.
Go ahead and start layering your cotton balls on top of the wet glue, until the paper plate is completely covered.
Now it’s time to add some winter sparkle. Add squiggles of glitter glue and some loose craft glitter on top of the cotton balls..
Next cut out a door for your igloo, from cardstock paper. Use the marker to add a door knob. Lay the door cutout on top of the wet glitter glue.
The last step is to add a sticker or two to tie the theme together.
Allow your igloo piece to dry completely before you display it proudly for all to see!
