Paper Plate Scarecrow Craft For Kids To Make
Supplies: paper plate, scissors, tissue paper, school glue, cardstock, marker, wiggle eyes & stapler
First grab your tan tissue paper and cut out a handful of squares.
Now squirt some school glue all over your paper plate piece.
Layer your tissue paper squares on top of the wet glue until the paper plate is completely covered.
Next up - fold a piece of yellow cardstock in half. Trace your child's hand on it.
Trim it out to make two handprints.
Out of your remaining cardstock, cut out a hat, nose and mouth.
Now gather all your pieces - it's time to assemble! Staple the hat & handprints to the paper plate.
Next glue the eyes, nose and mouth in place.
Finally add some custom touches, such as leaf stickers on the hat!
Now admire your "not so scary" scarecrow and display him proudly!
