Knead dough ingredients (in recipe) with a dough hook to create a soft pliable dough

Tear a piece off

Shape the remaining dough in a ball and rest in a lightly oiled bowl for an hour and cover the dough with a clean kitchen cloth

Wrap each pat of butter in a piece of the dough you had pulled aside and freeze

Whip icing sugar and butter for topping

Add remaining ingredients one by one - egg, vanilla, flour

After an hour tour dough should have risen. Punch it down and divide into six pieces

Form buns with each piece making sure to place the frozen butter inside

Rest the buns covered for another 45 min

They will rise a little

Pipe the coffee topping over each then bake for 15 minutes at 350F
