Pear Crisp (Gluten Free)

Preheat the oven to 350 F. Cut pears into thin slices and place into a large bowl.

Measure out maple syrup, lemon juice, arrowroot powder, and spices and mix with the pears.

Pour pears into an 8x8 dish.

Cover with foil and cook for 15 minutes.

Prep the oat topping. Combine oats, melted butter, cinnamon, maple syrup, & almond flour.

Take pears out of oven and remove foil. Stir with a spoon to mix them up.

Pour oat topping over pears & smooth into an even layer. Cook for 40 mins, turning halfway through.

Take out of the oven and let cool for 5-10 minutes. Serve with ice cream if desired.
