Pecan Butter Cookies
Add room temperature butter + brown sugar to mixing bowl.

Cream together butter and brown sugar.

Add egg and mix well. Add vanilla extract and mix to incorporate.

I had some help in this step. Add flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate mixing bowl.

Add flour mixture to the butter & sugar mixture.

Stir in chopped pecans.

Line your cookie sheet with parchment paper. ~ I’m using my Pampered Chef Cookie Sheet. ~

Roll out your cookies and then roll them into a bowl of sugar. *You can skip this step if you’d like.*

Usually makes 20 - 24 cookies.

Using the tines on the fork, press down to make the crisscross pattern.

Chill in the refrigerator for 30 - 60 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 10-12 minutes. You don’t want these to get too brown.

Let them cook for 4-5 minutes and enjoy! *Be sure to store them in an air tight container.*
