Perfect Sourdough Chocolate Chip Cookies
Add softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Cream until fluffy.

Add egg and sourdough starter, then mix on medium speed until combined.

Scrape down the sides of the bowl thoroughly.

Add cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and vanilla. Mix until combined.

Add two cups flour, then stir until mostly combined. Scrape down the sides again.

Add chocolate chips and the last quarter cup of flour. Mix until distributed.

Refrigerate dough for an hour.

Scoop chilled dough into silpat or parchment lined baking sheets.

Bake at 350 for 11-13 minutes, just until the edges start to brown. Let them cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before placing on a wire rack.
