Mix fine semolina, almond flour, salt, baking powder & soda, and ground pistachios and cardamom.

Add softened butter and sugar to a bowl and mix well.

Add 3 eggs, one at a time and mix well.

Add plain yogurt and vanilla, mix to combine.

Add a splash of orange blossom water, then mix in the dry ingredients.

Pour in a prepared pan and bake at 350F/170C for about 50 min.

While cake is hot, pour simple syrup on top. Mine is orange juice, blossom water, and sugar.

Cut into pieces and top with pistachios.
