Plant-Based Bourbon Glazed Carrots

Chop 2lbs. of carrots into your desired shape.

Cooked carrots in 1/4C of vegetable broth until they are slightly browned and soft.

Slowly add 1/2 cup of bourbon and allow to cook for 2-3 minutes, until the bourbon is mostly gone.

Add 3T maple syrup and cook until sticky and glazed.

Remove from the heat and sprinkle with cayenne and black pepper.

Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with cilantro, if desired.
