Popsicle Stick Bracelets
Popsicle sticks!

Fill a pot with water

Heat the water to boil

Boiling water!

Using tongs have an adult add the popsicle sticks to the water

Cover the water

Turn off the heat

Set the pot aside

Leave the popsicle sticks soaking for 4-6 hours

Once 4-6 hours has passed you can remove the lid

Use tongs to remove the popsicle sticks

Bend them carefully into a “C” shape

Put them in a cup or mug to dry

If they don’t bend well put them back in the water to soak

Be careful when your bending, they can break if they haven’t soaked enough

Leave them in a cup or mug to dry for 24-48 hours

Beware sometimes a popsicle stick pops out of the cup

Once they are dry remove them from the cup

Here are the bracelet designs I will be showing you how to make

Put two popsicle sticks together and tape with Washi tape

Tape the other side with washi tape and add more tape for decoration or cover the whole thing

Try wrapping the whole bracelet with washi tape

For this next design you will need string, sharpies and hot glue gun

Decorate the outside and inside of the bracelet

Measure out about 3 to 4 lengths or string around your hand

Add a dot of hot glue on the end and wrap the string around it, hold till it dries

Add a dot of glue on the inside or outside to glue the end down in the correct direction

Repeat the previous steps on the other side

Trim the ends if they are very long

Tie it into a knot or bow and trim the ends

Finished!

Wrap the string around your hand 3-4 times and cut the end. Do this only once for this design.

Add a dot of hot glue to the top end of the popsicle stick and attach the string

Add a dot of hot glue to the top and secure the string

Add a dot of hot glue to the end and secure the string

Tie a knot and trim the ends. Finished!

Add hot glue to the ends of two popsicle sticks and squeeze the ends till they dry

Use sharpies to add a design or pattern
