Pop-Up Collage Card, Mini Scrapbook Album
Hello! Today, I’m sharing a Pop Up card that can also be a mini album or added to a scrapbook layout.
Opening the card
Happy Birthday!!!
Cut Cardstock to 6” x 12”, then score at 6” to create a 6” x 6” card base.
With a 3” x 7-1/2” piece of Cardstock, score at 1-1/2” lengthwise. Turn Cardstock and score at 2-1/4” and 5-1/4”
Score diagonal lines across the middle sections, creating an “x”
Cut 2 pieces of Cardstock to 3” x 4-1/4”. Score at 3/4”, then cut up to 1-1/2” along that line. Score at 2”
Cut (4) strips 1/2” x 4-1/2” and (4) strips 1/2” x 3”. Cut 4 colors of Cardstock at 2” x 3” and 2 colors at 2” x 2”. Cut 3 pieces of DSP at 5-3/4”
Use strong adhesives such as Tombow liquid glue or Stampin Seal+. Adhere DSP to outer card front and both inside panels. Adhere 1/2 strips together
Fold on all of the score lines to create the pop up mechanism
Cut small angles at the end of the longer 1/2” strips. Adhere to the pop up mechanism with strong adhesive.
Use Tear & Tape adhesive on the pop up mechanism to adhere it to the center of the card/album.
Connect the (2) 3” x 4-1/2” pieces together and reinforce with tape. Fold on all score lines.
Use strong adhesive to adhere the 2 mechanism pieces together as shown.
Fold your card closed gently. Use a bone folder over the card multiple times.
Add the 2” x 3” Cardstock pieces to the pop up. Fold and score after adding each piece.
Add the 2” x 2” squares to the top and bottom tabs.
Adhere the smaller 1/2” strips under the top mechanism. Embellish as desired.
