What you'll need
Potato
Knife
Screen Printing Ink
Tea Towels
Cut your potato into slices and make shapes. For lemons, cut out the center and a triangle segment.
1
Cut an avocado shape and use the end of the potato for the seed. Thumbtacks can help make handles!
2
Don’t forget to protect your work surface with wax paper & tape, cardboard, or a plastic placemat.
3
Roll your fabric ink into a thin layer and stamp your shapes onto the fabric.
4
Continue your pattern over the entire tea towel.
5
For avocados, mix yellow and blue to make green and stamp your full avocado first.
6
Use the stamp from the end of the potato to make a pit.
7
Let dry fully and use a warm iron to make sure the ink is set. Then, enjoy!!
