Protein Donuts w/Maple Glaze
What you’ll need: vanilla protein powder, plain Greek yogurt, whole wheat pastry flour, maple extract, oil, eggs, coconut sugar, and almond milk.
Combine eggs, almond milk, Greek yogurt, coconut sugar, oil, maple extract, baking powder, and vanilla protein powder. Whisk until no clumps remain.
Add whole wheat pastry flour and stir until just combined. Don’t overmix.
Grease your donut pan and fill each about 3/4 full of batter.
Clean up the donut centers if you need to, then bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
Meanwhile, make the glaze. Whisk together organic powdered sugar, maple syrup, maple extract, and almond milk. Set aside.
Allow donuts to cool before glazing.
Glaze by dipping each donut’s top half into the glaze. Allow to drip onto parchment paper to avoid a mess!
Allow glaze to set, then eat!
