Tools needed: flush cutters, hole punch 1.8mm, riveting hammer
1
The little black block-Debkarash.com my preferred tool for this process.
2
Or you can use a dapping punch.
3
Shrinket “cupped” pieces, 1/16” diameter rivets, spacers, any other bits & pieces, metal piece
4
Use a punch that is a bit smaller than the cupped piece. Anything too large will break the piece.
5
Cut rivet to approx. 1/16”. Don’t forget to hold the hammer with a loose grip & breathe!
6
Oh no.... I can’t get my piece riveted down tight!!
7
To spiral or not to spiral.... that’s the question!
8
How I make a spiral....
9
Riveting work complete!
10
Trim rivet. Riveting on the Little Black Block is much easier. You will find your piece slips less!
11
Pieces riveted on the Little Back Block have a better shot at going on tighter.
