Salt Dough Onomatopoeia
What you'll need
1/2 Cup of Flour
1/4 Cup Of Salt
1/4 Cup Of Water
Scrap Card-board
Drawing Materials (markers, crayons, colored pencils, etc.)
Optional: Pipe Cleaner Or String
Draw and color a background plaque. Loops and zigzags work well. πŸ™‚

Mix salt, water and flour.

Knead until a soft dough forms.

Roll small amounts into coils.

If dough is dry and cracky, add a fingertip of water.

Use coil portions to spell your onomatopoeia word.

With your fingers, flatten and smooth the letters.

Let dry overnight.

Once dry, color or paint in your own awesome way!

To add a string or pipe cleaner, punch or poke two holes.

Thread pipe cleaner or string through holes.

You may wish to glue the letters in place.
