Saltine Cracker Toffee With Peanuts
Gather ingredients: 24 saltine crackers, 1.5 cups salted peanuts, 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup + 1 TBS golden syrup...

5 TBS unsalted butter, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Line 9x13 dish with waxed paper and spray with cooking spray. Lay your saltine crackers evenly over the waxed paper.

Combine peanuts with the 1/2 cup golden syrup and sugar in a pot, and melt until the sugar dissolves—about 3 minutes. Be careful not to burn!

Add 1 TBS of butter and 1 tsp of vanilla, and stir until the butter is melted and combined.

Pour this super sticky mixture over your saltine crackers, and spread evenly. This mixture is very hot, so BE CAREFUL!

Refrigerate for an hour.

Remove from the fridge, and slide out of pan. Break into serving sized pieces.

Put the cut up pieces of candy back into the 9x13 dish.

To a bowl, add 4 TBS of butter, 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips, and 1 TBS of golden syrup.

Microwave in 30 second increments, stirring each time, until the chocolate is melted.

Drizzle this melted chocolate goodness over your peanut cracker toffee, and allow the chocolate to harden before serving!
