Grab yourself some glass tumblers with the wooden/bamboo lids.
1
Remove all the silicone parts of your lid and set aside.
2
Lightly sand your lids. Wipe any excess dust off with a lent free cloth.
3
Apply a thin layer of quick coat. Wait till completely dry to move on to next step.
4
Paint your bases. I use CCDIY dispersion colors.
5
Mix equal parts of resin. Once mixed apply to the colored base spreading evenly then torch.
6
Divide your left over resin and add a tiny drop of your colors (same as your base)
7
Drizzle a small amount of colored resin throughout your ocean.
8
After adding the colorant, quickly hit with a heat gun to move the resin and blend your colors.
9
Add a tiny bit of AA and quickly hit with your heat gun to spread it out. Let cure.
10
For your next layer mix equal parts of resin. Set a small amount aside for your AA.
11
Once thoroughly mixed apply to the lid, smooth evenly and hit with a torch.
12
Add your glass stones throughout the sandy area.
13
Mix in a small amount of AA to the resin you set aside. Drizzle that to your lid and hit with heat.
14
Wipe the sides of the lid to make sure you don’t have any resin runs. Let cure.
15
Add a final coat of resin. Once cured replace your silicone pieces and enjoy!
