Sesame Miso Shortbread Cookies
2 1/4 cups
all-purpose flour
1/2 cup
Brown sugar
2 tablespoons
Arrow Root Powder
2 sticks
Butter (room Temperature)

Black Sesame Seeds
2 tablespoons
Mellow White Miso Paste
1/2 teaspoon
Salt
Combine brown sugar, butter, and miso. With a spatula incorporate ingredients.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, arrow root powder, and sesame seeds.

Slowly incorporate the flour mixture to the butter mixture

Dump mixture onto a flat surface and slowly kneed into a dough

Form dough into a log and wrap in cling film

Place dough in the refrigerator for 20-30 min.

Cut chilled dough into 1/3 inch pieces

Place cookies on sheet tray.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and place cookies in oven for 8-11 minutes.

Let cookies cool for 10 minutes, then enjoy!
