Two 6”x10” pieces
Cotton fabric from home (such as a bedsheet or quilting cotton)
1 pair of scissors
Two, 6” Pieces
1/8” Elastic, or Elastic Hairbands
Iron (optional)
Two 6”x10” pieces
Cotton fabric from home (such as a bedsheet or quilting cotton)

Ruler
Stack your two fabric pieces. Cut together into a 10”x6” rectangle.

Fold and iron (optional!) 1/4” on each of the long sides.

Sew a simple hem over both 1/4” folds.

Fold and iron (optional!) 1/2” on each of the short sides.

Sew down both 1/2” folds, leaving space to thread your elastic through.

Cut 2, 6” pieces of elastic. If you don’t have elastic, try hairbands, shoestrings, or fabric strips

Thread the elastic through each side with a bobby pin. Tie in a double knot.
