Solid Cotton Fabric
Cut each piece of fabric to 9”x 12”. Print & assemble free pattern available @ createtodonate.org
Trace pattern onto solid fabric.
Put fabric right sides together. Tracing should be on side facing out.
Clip fabric pieces together.
Use the traced lines as a guide to sew all the way around the shape.
Leave approx 2” open on one side in order to turn right sides out.
Turn right sides out & top stitch 1/8” away from edges.
Do a 1” accordion fold at the top & bottom. AKA fold 2” towards center then back 1” toward edge.
Fold each edge over 1” & clip. This is the channel for the mask fastener (t-shirt ties or elastic).
Secure each channel with a zigzag stitch.
Thread your t-shirt tie or elastic through the side channels.
