Fabric Creations Soft Fabric Ink In Navy
Gather all of your supplies. Grab a friend, too! It’ll make folding easier.
1
Fold (pre-washed) drop cloth accordion style lengthwise.
2
Fold the bottom portion of the fabric up into a triangle.
3
Tuck it under itself to create another triangle. Then, back over to make another triangle.
4
Continue triangle folding until the end. Secure folded drop cloth with two large rubber bands.
5
Squeeze 3 bottles of Fabric Creations Soft Fabric Ink into a squeeze bottle.
6
Add an equal amount of tap water.
7
Head outdoors if you can! Fill dish pan halfway up with water.
8
Submerge folded drop cloth in water.
9
Be sure to get every side. Once saturated, discard remaining water.
10
Put on rubber gloves and start dyeing. One side at a time, generously squeeze on ink.
11
Use your gloved hands to rub the ink into the fabric.
12
Cover all the sides, but don’t be too concerned about every little spot.
13
Once covered, remove the rubber bands, unfold and hang in the sun to dry.
14
Looks good enough to eat off of!
