Should You Visit Gatorland, Orlando?
“The Alligator Capital of the World®” is home to over 2,000 alligators and a budget-friendly attraction in Orlando, with fun for all ages!
You'll see many different types of alligators, including leucistic and albino alligators. Keep your eyes open and you'll even see some movie stars!
In addition to alligators, you'll find many other wild animals! There are plenty of reptiles and several types of birds who love the climate.
Since Gatorland is set up in an open way, you can get really close to many of the birds! You can even feed them (and some other animals) for a fee.
That includes the farm animals at the petting zoo, which you can obviously pet as well! You can even pay extra to pet a gator.
Or you can wrestle one. Or just watch a professional do it during one of the several shows during the day!
You can buy other adventures, like a special tour, night activity, behind the scenes experience, or ziplining over this beautiful scenery!
We went in January and experienced the beautiful weather and views! Also, there were fewer people getting in our way or in our pictures.
The zipline also crosses over real live alligators--just don't fall! The coolest part, though, is that they have an accessible option.
In addition to alligators and fun, you'll also discover several hilarious photo ops! Their sense of humor definitely makes the day more enjoyable.
We didn't even have kids with us, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Gatorland is full of fun for all ages, interests, and abilities!
Even if you don't particularly enjoy reptiles! Be sure to check Groupon and other discounts. I just know you'll love a day at this Orlando attraction!
