Simple Blueberry Crumb Bars
Butter 9x13 baking dish. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Add room temperature butter, egg, and 1 cup of sugar to a bowl, then mix until creamy.

Add baking powder, cinnamon, and salt (plus lemon zest if using) to the bowl and mix again.

Add flour and mix gently until crumbly.

Add about half the mixture to your greased pan, and press to form a single layer.

Add blueberries, corn starch, lemon juice, sugar, and grated nutmeg to a bowl. Mix to combine.

Pour blueberries onto unbaked crust and spread into an even layer.

Sprinkle remaining crust mixture over blueberries and distribute evenly.

Bake 50-60 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the blueberries bubble on the side of the pan.
