Slicing And Dicing Fennel
Turn the fennel into its side and cut off the fronds.

Turn the bulb over and stand it on the root end. Slice directly through the middle.

Using the tip of your knife, cut out the core.

Turn the fennel over onto the cut side and slice.

To dice, set the bulbs so the root end is facing to your left for right-handers and to the right for left handers. Slice horizontally.

Turn the bulb so the root end is facing away from you. Using the tip of your knife, slice vertically.

Turn it back to its original position and make a final series of vertical cuts. That’s it!
