Soft Sugar Cookies (with sour cream)
Beat soft butter with sour cream and sugar

Add egg and flavorings

Sift dry ingredients and add in 2 parts to integrate well

Mix with spatula until no flour spots remain

The dough is soft but not sticky

Cover and refrigerate before rolling

Work with half of the dough at a time and keep the rest refrigerated

Roll on a lightly floured surface and make cut outs using your favorite shapes

Put on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet and bake according to the recipe
