Sourdough Bread Bowl with Buffalo Chicken Dip
You'll need: a loaf of sourdough bread, leftover roasted chicken, cream cheese, buffalo sauce, garlic powder & fresh chives.
1
Remove skins from chicken & shred/chop. You can use dark/white meat - your choice!
2
In a mixing bowl, add half of the chopped chicken, cream cheese & buffalo sauce.
3
Add the garlic powder & chopped chives.
4
Add the remaining portion of shredded chicken.
5
Mix all the ingredients until well blended & creamy texture achieved.
6
Cut the top of the sourdough loaf on an angle in a circular fashion & lift off.
7
Remove the soft "guts" to create a deeper "bowl". Set aside the loose bread to arrange on your serving platter for later.
8
Chop up the bread loaf top into cubes & add to your platter.
9
Lay sourdough bowl in the center of your serving platter & surround with chopped veggies & extra bread. Scoop the Buffalo Chicken dip into the bowl.
10
Garnish with freshly chopped chives.
11
Dip, scoop & enjoy!
