Sourdough English Muffins
Have sourdough starter discard? Use it to make these delicious English muffins!
Mix together unfed starter, flour, and milk in a bowl. Cover and let sit overnight.
Add remaining flour, sugar, salt, and baking soda.
Mix until a shaggy ball forms. Turn out on a floured surface and knead.
Knead until dough is smooth.
Roll out dough and use a 3” cutter to cut out muffins. Re-roll as necessary allowing the dough to rest for 10 minutes before cutting.
Let rest for at least an hour before cooking.
Cook on a hot griddle for 6-8 minutes on each side.
