ROYGBiV is the rainbow order of the COLOR wheel. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
In today’s project, you will be using the Art Element of VALUE.
VALUE describes the “lightness”(TINTS) or “darkness”(SHADES) of a COLOR.
Begin by folding your paper into 6 different sections.
1
Draw lines along the creases of your paper.
2
Carefully draw an organic puddle shape for your “spilled milk.”
3
Add a couple “drips” and “drops” next to your “spilled milk” puddle.
4
Starting with red marker, begin coloring the space around the puddle in one section.
5
Color the next section with orange marker. These will be the SHADES of your background colors.
6
Keep adding each color of the rainbow🌈 , making sure to leave the puddle & drip spaces clear.
7
Continue coloring the entire background, one section at a time. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
8
Color all the way to the edges of the puddle & to the edges of the paper. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
9
Take time to color these dark SHADES solidly & evenly in each section of the background.❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
10
Draw curving crescent shapes along the left side of your “spilled milk” puddle for highlights.
11
Finish lightly coloring the inside of your “spilled milk” with crayon. These are your color TINTS.
12
Lastly, draw a thick black line along the right edge of your puddle & a thin line along the left.

We hope you enjoyed creating your “spilled milk” masterpiece with us today! Ms. R & Ms. T❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🤍🤎
