Stencil Your Own Welcome Porch Sitter Sign
Turn a simple pine board into a gorgeous Welcome sign for your home.
1
Start with a pine board, 5ft long x 6in wide. Stain or paint with standard latex paint. Spray the stained board with clear sealer.
2
You need a tub of water and a damp cloth.
3
Temporarily place your stencils to determine the spacing.
5
Apply the stencils before you apply chalkpaste. New stencils need to be “fuzzed” before applying to the board. Smooth out any air bubbles.
6
Apply chalkpaste with a squeegee by spreading it across the design. Remove the excess to be used again, later. Remove stencil immediately and clean.
7
Here is the second board, to show you the process one more time.

Thanks for watching. I hope you get to make one yourself!
