Stovetop Sausage Gravy and Biscuits
Add sage sausage to a large skillet over high heat. Break up and brown the sausage in the skillet.

Stir in butter. Mix it in well until it melts.

Add flour and stir until you can’t see the flour anymore.

Gradually add milk and stir well. Let it cook a minute or two.

Slowly add more milk and stir well.

Let it cook another minute, then add maple syrup and a pinch of pepper, plus Chicago steak seasoning and garlic powder. Add salt to taste.

Allow it to bubble and thicken until it reduces into a thick gravy. Serve hot over freshly made biscuits and enjoy!
