Striped Ribbon Lettering Tutorial
Use a light coloured brush pen to letter the words and thicken up the strokes if needed.
1
Use a pencil to outline the downstrokes only. The upstrokes (no pencil outline) will be coloured in first.
2
Use different coloured small brush pens to create the stripes on the upstrokes. Its okay to overlap into the downstrokes.
3
Use another colour (or metallic paint) for the downstrokes, following the outline drawn earlier. This will cover up any overlaps made from earlier.
4
Add shadows with a grey brush pen and you're done! Thank you for watching! 😊
