Sweet Potato Biscuits with Honey Butter

Start with 2 1/4 cups flour and 4 t. sugar

Add 1 T. baking powder, 1 t. salt, 1 t. cinnamon, and 1/2 t. nutmeg

Stir to combine, then cut in 1/4 cup butter until coarse crumbs form

Combine 1 cup cooked and peeled sweet potatoes with 1/2 cup half & half cream

Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients just until moistened

Turn dough onto floured surface, knead 8-10 times, and roll out to 1/2 inch thickness

Cut biscuit with a floured biscuit cutter or glass and place on rectangle stone

Bake at 400F for 9-12 minutes

Clean up the counter (including sticky bits!) with the Pan scraper

Remove biscuits and cool on wire rack

Honey butter: 1/2 cup softened butter, 2 T. honey, and 1 t. cinnamon

Serve warm :)
