Kintsugi is the art of recognizing beauty in broken things.
Supplies - White plate, Enamel Paints, paint palette, E6000 glue, gold paint + rubbing alcohol
Clean off your plate with rubbing alcohol and then water down your black enamel paint.
Using your watered down paint, splatter until you like the created pattern.
Follow your enamel paint directions for allowing paint to set and bake.
Use a hammer and shatter your plate. (This step is harder than you may think, so don’t be nervous.)
Squeeze out a nickel size amount of E6000 glue and add gold paint to it.
Apply the mixture to two edges of your shattered plate. (Use a hairdryer to speed up this step.)
As the glue starts to dry, you’ll see the beautiful oozing glue create gorgeous patterns.
Set aside and allow your plate to fully dry before moving it.
Kintsugi makes the repaired piece even more beautiful than the original!
