The Best Buttery Beer Bread
All you need are 1 bowl and 6 pantry ingredients to make a delicious loaf of classic Beer Bread!
Whisk together sifted all purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.
Pour in your favorite beer. We prefer lager for a light flavor. (Beer suggestions on the blog.)
Stir until just combined. For a tender crumb, don’t overmix the batter!
Butter a 1-pound loaf pan and add batter, spreading it to the edges of the pan.
Pour melted butter over the top and bake at 375°F, 35-55 mins, until a cake tester comes out clean.
Let cool, slice, and serve with butter, or alongside your favorite dips, soups, stews, and chilis.
