6 ounces
Dark Chocolate
Buy
Finely chopped 6 oz of dark chocolate and melt it together with 3 oz unsalted butter over simmering water. Stir until smooth and then set it aside

Whisk together 3 oz sugar, 2 large eggs, two egg yolks, and 1/4 tsp salt

Add the chocolate mixture and 1/2 tsp vanilla to the egg mixture and whisk together until combines

Sprinkle in one ounce of all purpose flour and whisk in gently to combine. The mixture will be thick and goopy

Grease four 6oz ramekins with butter. Divide the batter evenly between them

Bake the lava cakes until the center is still a little jiggly and the outside is set

Loosen the lava cake with a knife then turn them out onto a plate

Dust with powdered sugar and serve immediately with whipped cream or ice cream!
