You’ll need: natural peanut butter, brown sugar, cane sugar, vegetable shortening, baking soda, flax egg, vanilla extract, and flour.
Cream together the peanut butter and shortening. Then, mix in the flax egg and baking soda.
Slowly mix in the flour, about 1/2 cup at a time...
...until the dough is soft and crumbly and comes together in your hands like this!
Then, use a trigger scoop to form 1/2-inch balls.
Place the cookie dough balls on a parchment lined baking sheet and use a fork to make those classic hash marks.
Bake at 325F for 13-15 minutes. They will firm up as they cool. Enjoy!
