The No-Fail Magic Circle
Want to crochet a magic circle (ring) that never fails and always looks great?
1
Wrap your thread loosely around your finger 2 times.
2
Insert your hook into the circle, yarn over, and twist your hook as you pull back through so that the thread crosses below the loop on the hook.
3
Sc around all 3 strands of thread in your magic circle.
5
Continue to sc around the magic circle.
6
When you have the number of sts you need, stop crocheting, and grab your end thread.
7
Gently pull the end-thread until you determine which thread in the magic circle is getting smaller.
8
Grab the smaller circle and pull gently on the opposite end. You'll notice the other circle getting smaller.
9
Now grab your end! Gently pull, and the loop will pull through and tighten your circle.
10
Sl st to close (unless working continuous rounds).
11
You did it! You have a magic circle that won't fail!
12
Make as many as you want! Use this technique in many of my crochet earring patterns!
13
Use this technique in the Coralise Earring pattern!
