The Perfect One Day Trip To Malibu, California
When you hear “Malibu” you might picture manicured palm trees and a ritzy, upscale area, like Beverly Hills.
But Malibu is a quiet area with a small-town vibe. Mom and Pop shops line the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and many beaches are free!
Let's look at some of the BEST things to do in Malibu and how to plan the perfect day!
Start your day with a sunrise hike on Zuma Ridge Trail.
The trail is 2 miles and moderate in difficulty. The mountain and ocean views are incredible.
After hiking, go for lunch at Malibu Farm on the pier, featuring fresh and healthy farm-to-table food.
After lunch, choose between a shopping day at Malibu Country Mart...
...or day at the beach. Malibu has some of the most incredible beaches in California, so they may be hard to resist.
Malibu Lagoon is calm and quiet. It has an estuary for migratory birds, so it’s a great place for wildlife viewing.
Or, head to the famous Zuma Beach and give surfing a try.
When it's getting late in the day, head to El Matador State Beach.
Be sure to allow time for exploring the many rocks and cliffs.
Later, watch the waves crashing against the rocks and the cliffs. It's a beautiful backdrop for sunset.
Once the sun goes down, that will wrap up a perfect one day trip to Malibu! Check the blog for more details.
