Things To Do In Maui, Hawai’i 🌋
Visit Haleakalā National Park (Volcano). Shield volcano that forms 75% of the island of Maui. The crater looks like you’re on Mars! A must see!
Sunrise Tour of Haleakalā. We went with Skyline Hawaii company and highly recommend them. The sunrise is MUST SEE. The most Magnificent sunrise ever!
Haleakalā sunrise. On clear sky nights before the sunrise, Milky Way can be seen and photographed! Unfortunately we couldn’t capture it in clarity.
Visit or stay on the Wailea side of town. Luxurious resorts, and beautiful beach. A perfect place for honeymooners! We loved the Marriott Maui Resort.
Whale watching! Sept-March is the best time for whale watching, even though April is possible too but there’s a chance you might or mightn’t see any.
Iao Valley. The iconic Iao Needle is there! Amazing historic state park with lush greens! An interesting history to the place.
Luau on the island. We attended the Te Au Moana Luau and enjoyed our night very much. Luau is a must when you visit Hawai’i, be it any island.
Road to Hana. Infamous ride with hundreds to sharp turns that can take hours to explore. Has everything from bamboo forests to beaches and caves.
Watching sea turtles on the beach from a safe and well maintained distance. You’ll prob catch yourself swimming w/ one on a beach suddenly!
Garden of Eden Arboretum. A lush botanical garden with fantastic views, waterfalls, trails and picnic spots! You can see peacocks walking around too!
Black Sand beach. Lava formed beach that gives the sand its black color. One of a kind beach!
Lavender farm. Such a pretty farm by Haleakala! The shop has everything lavender made for sale, and filled with different kinds of lavender.
