Tips for Visiting the Ice Castles in Midway, Utah
Less than an hour outside Salt Lake City you can discover the Midway Ice Castles, one of the most magical and Instagrammable experiences in Utah!
The Midway Ice Castles are built using hundreds of thousands of icicles hand-placed by professional ice artists.
The experience includes frozen thrones, ice-carved tunnels, slides, fountains and more.
Here are my tips for visiting the Midway Ice Castles to have the most magical experience!
The area around the castles is VERY slushy, so wear appropriate shoes!
The Ice Castles are a popular attraction (for a good reason!) so book a ticket for right when they open to avoid crowds.
For cheaper ticket prices and even less crowds, go during the week.
There is no time limit for how long you can visit the Ice Castles, so stay as long as you like to see every part of the attraction.
For a special occasion like a proposal or birthday party, consider booking the VIP Arctic Cove package.
I cannot recommend visiting the Midway Ice Castles enough for anyone in the area!
