13 Tips To Get The Perfect Photo At Disney World
Plan your visit - prioritize your shoot spots by location and have your outfits planned in advance
1
Some of the best photo spots are: Cinderella’s castle, Cinderella’s wishing well, Main Street USA, and Liberty Square
Stay with one of the on-site Disney resorts to take advantage of the extra Magic Hours. You’ll get to enter the park one hour before it opens to shoot
2
Bring a couple of outfit options that don’t take up much space - maximize the content you’ll get by having light dresses and skirts to layer over top
3
I’m wearing a mini dress here that could be worn alone with another skirt layered over top
Bring your DSLR/mirrorless camera but don’t shy away from using your phone too - this photo was my favourite from Disney and it’s a phone photo!
4
Head to Cinderella’s castle first. This is the busiest spot and if you’re there during magic hours you can get it empty! Take advantage of this time
5
Be creative and try a new perspective! - shooting on the railing was an easy way to avoid the crowds and get no one in my photos
6
Shoot on the small side streets of Main Street USA for a great Disney Photo Spot! There were no people here even when it was open!
7
Head to Liberty Square for more cute Instagrammable Architecture
8
Add a prop to spice up your image! - I bought this umbrella from a vendor and it made such a cute prop for my photos!
9
Enjoy the day and just shoot when you’re inspired!
10
Grab yourself a Mickey shaped (or just yummy!) treat for a cute photo idea
11
Get a shot of Cinderella’s Castle from the Hub Grass - great photo idea for while it’s busy!
12
Get your iconic Mouse Ears photos - Did you even go to Disney if you didn’t get a photo of your Minnie ears? I don’t think so
