Top 10 Golden Gate Bridge Viewpoints
Hawk Hill - This is my absolute favorite spot to capture sunrise over the bridge. There are plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the views here too.
Fort Point - You can get up close shots standing directly under the south side of the bridge here.
Battery Spencer - Once a reinforced concrete gun battery this incredible overlook is now part of the Golden Gate Recreation Area.
Batteries to Bluffs Trail - On this 2 mile loop you can overlook jagged cliff tops or descend the rugged steps and dirt path to the beach below.
Marshall’s Beach - One of San Francisco’s hidden gems this is my favorite spot to enjoy golden hour as the sun sets beyond the bridge.
Legion of Honor - This museum is not only home to over 6,000 years of European art the grounds also offer lovely views of the bridge.
Chrissy Feild - This is a hugely popular spot to enjoy views of the bridge while kitesurfing, sunbathing, frisbee tossing or just enjoying a stroll.
Golden Gate Overlook at the Presidio of San Francisco - This 1,500 acre national park site offers wonderful bluffs to explore.
Golden Gate Bridge View Vista Point - There are vista points at both the north & south side of the bridge for your viewing pleasure.
On the Bridge - Don’t miss the opportunity to stroll on the bridge & experience it’s magnitude up close, just be aware the bridge is 1.7 miles long!
