Choose 3-4 colored pumpkin pails - you can find these at Walmart, Target, and party stores!

Look for colorful favors and candy that match your pumpkin pails: Walmart had lots of $1 options.

Here are some green treats we found - isn’t color coordinating fun?

Have older siblings help by holding the treat pails- the orange pail is for the trick or treater!

Paint wooden pumpkins or cut out cardstock pumpkin shapes in the same colors as your pumpkin pails

The mini pumpkins will be hidden in the yard and matches the pail your kid gets a treat from!

Scavenger hunt bonus: if they find an orange mini pumpkin, they can pick from any bowl!

Hide your mini pumpkins outside - adjust the difficulty based on the age of your trick or treaters.

Time to find some pumpkins!

Reiterate the colors as they find them.
