Add 1 lb each of raisins, currants, prunes and sultanas to blender
Add 1/2 cup cherry brandy
Add 2 cups rum and blend
Empty into bowl and set aside.
Cream 1 lb each of butter and sugar
Beat 10 eggs along with lime rind and essence
Add egg mixture to butter mixture.
Mix until combined
Add 1lb sifted flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 2 tsps cinnamon
Add grinded fruits
Add 1/4 lb mixed peel, 1/2 lb cherries
Add 1/2 cup browning (add more for desired color)
Incorporate evenly
Pour mixture into greased pans and bake at 225 for 2.5 hrs
Leave in pans to cool. Remove and baste with 1/2 cup rum and 1/2 cup cherry
