Add Soaked & Drained Chana Dal, Grated Ginger, crushed Black Pepper & Salt

Place a trivet inside the steamer & add Half a cup of water

Take a damp & clean kitchen towel ( I’ve used Bounty )

Pour the prepared Idli batter as shown & fold

Arrange then on a wide stainless steel plate & place them inside the steamer & close the lid

Steam for 10 minutes & turn off the heat

Let it cool for 5-10 minutes before taking off the wrapper

Serve with Coconut Chutney
