Ulli Karam Dosa
Take 1 cup Urad dal, 1.5 cup Rice, 1/4 cup Poha in a wide bowl.

Wash and soak them in water for 5-6 hours.

Drain the water, transfer them to a blender. Add salt and little water.

Blend into a smooth paste.

Transfer the batter into a air tight container and keep it in a warm place for 6 to 8 hours.

After 6-8hours, the batter ferments. Stir the batter well, store in refrigerator until you use it.

To make Ulli karam, heat oil in a pan,add onions, garlic and red chilies.

Sauté on high heat for 5-6 minutes.

Blend the sautéed mixture along with salt and tamarind paste.

Do not add water. Ulli karam is ready to use now.

In a heated pan, pour a ladle of dosa batter and spread it in a circular motion to form thin dosa.

Spread 2tbsp of Ulli karam evenly on the dosa.

Cook till the dosa turns brown in color and crisp. Do not flip the dosa.

Fold the dosa and serve hot with Peanut chutney.
