Montrose Beach & Belmont Harbor are two of the only beaches that welcome furry friends to come play and swim!

Fullerton Beach is a nice alternative to more popular spots. It sits next to the bike path (watch out) and great views for the Air & Water show.

North Ave Beach is most popular of all. The boat-inspired beach house has restaurants/bars, cabanas, showers.  Bike/chair/sport rentals are available!

Oak St. Beach is near skyscraper icons like The Drake Hotel & John Hancock.  Rent bikes, chairs, or volleyball courts (watch for summer tournaments).

Ohio St. Beach has a large shallow area. It's best for learning to swim or training in open waters.

12th Street Beach is south of Adler Planetarium and has great panoramic views (bring your camera)! There is limited paid lot and street parking.

31st St Beach is the best spot for water sports. Paddleboard, kayak, boat, and jet ski rentals are on location!

57th St. Beach located in the Hyde Park area, it has a beach house, restrooms, and  food concession. Access is via a mosaic pedestrian underpass.

63rd St. Beach has restrooms, sports equipment for rent and concessions.  A spray pool play area is located in the west courtyard of the beach house.

South Shore Beach (70th St.) is part of the South Shore Cultural Center, a 65-acre park with a 9 hole golf course, tennis courts and beach house.

Rainbow Beach is furthest south (75th St.), but has an inspiring view of the Chicago skyline!

Before you visit -- DO pack sunscreen, towels, sun glasses, sand toys, water cooler, snacks, bug  repellant, water shoes.
DON'T smoke, bring alcohol, bring inflatable or flotation devices (not allowed in water), swim without a lifeguard on duty.
